Every Sunday from 24 June to 26 August you can enjoy a pleasant steam engine journey between Vikersund and Krødern while the lush Norwegian countryside passes slowly by.

With a length of 26 kilometres, it is the longest of its kind in Norway. It was opened as a narrow gauge line in 1872. Today it is a museum railway line operated by the Norwegian Railway Club.

At Vikersund the train corresponds with trains to/from Oslo.

For more information about the Krøder Railway, please see its website at kroderbanen.museum.no.
